Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effects of esomeprazole combined with mosapride in treatment of reflux esophagitis. Methods: Ninety-four cases of reflux esophagitis were randomly divided into three groups, patients in control group only received esomeprazole or mosapride treatment, while others received esomeprazole and mosapride treatment synchronously, and curative effects were compared among the three groups. Results:There were no significantly statistical difference in symptom scores of heartburn, acid reflux, dysphagia and retrosternal burning pain among the three groups before treatment(P0.05),but after 4 weeks of treatment, symptom scores significantly reduced in all groups(P0.05),and the symptom scores and incidence of side effects of treatment group were both significantly lower than those in control group(P both 0.05),but the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Combined use of esomeprazole and mosapride is effective on reflux esophagitis showing advantages of few complications, safety and reliability and it is worthy to be popularized.
