Abstract
AIM To establish an HPLC method for the separation and determination of Shuanghuanglian tablet. METHODS A method of analysis for determination of six components from Shuanghuanglian tablet by RP HPLC has been developed. Column: Inertsil ODS. The eluent consisted of acetonitrile water (1% acetic acid). A gradient method was set up. The flow rate was 1 0 mL·min -1 . The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm. RESULTS The contents of six components, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, rutin, phillyrin, baicalin, and baicalein were determined by the given method. CONCLUSION The analytical results demonstrate that the method is convenient, accurate and practical and can be used as a reliable method for the quality control of this preparation.
