The value of the colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical disease

Objective:To evaluate colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical disease.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 670 cases of hospital obstetrics and gynecology by colposcopy and biopsy cases,evaluation of colposcopy for cervical lesions. Results:Colposcopy pathological examination of 670 cases,the detection of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer 110 cases,accounting for 16.4%,which,CIN Ⅰ 65 例 (59.1%),CIN Ⅱ 28 例 (25.4%),CIN Ⅲ 11 cases (10%),6 cases of cervical cancer (5.5%).To histological diagnosis as the standard colposcopy diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value were 86.4% ,84.3% ,51.9% , 96.9%.From CIN Ⅰ→ CIN Ⅱ→ CIN Ⅲ and cancer,the sensitivity of colposcopy was 84.6% (55/65),85.7% (24/28),90.9% (10/11),100%(6/6).Conclusion:Colposcopy of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer diagnosis,with high sensitivity and negative predictive value.Colposcopy of cervical HSIL detection rate,higher than the low detection rate of lesions.
