Abstract

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the value of electronic colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical lesions.METHOD Analysis of 2 279 cases of colposcopy patients in gynecology clinic during the January 2010 to September 2010.RESULTS The sensitivity of colposcopy to CIN was 85.1%(40/47),specificity was 53.0%(71/134).The sensitivity of cervical cancer was 88.9%(8/9),the sensitivity of condyloma was 100.0%(2/2),positive predictive value was 64.5%(40/62),negative predictive value was 89.9%(71/79).Whereas the acetic acid white punctate epithelial +Vascular + embedded in CIN III was higher compared with CIN I and CIN II.CONCLUSION The colposcopy is a aluable diagnostic method, but it has limitations, need experience, comprehensive analysis, careful diagnosis.
