Abstract

Objective:To build a determination method of encapsulation efficiency for curcuminoids liposome, and to study the release profile in vitro.Method:Curcumin liposome was prepared by the method of ethanol injection, the encapsulation efficiency was determined by gel permeation chromatography. The release behavior of the drug from liposome was studied by the third method for dissolution.A Shimadzu C_(18)column(150 mm×4.6 mm,5μm) was used with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water-glacial acetic acid(45:55:2),the flow rate was 1 mL· min~(-1),the UV detected was set at 430 nm.Results:The encapsulation efficiency of liposome was 64.4%,and the release rule in vitro was subject to the first order model. Conclusion:The method is simple, fast and selective. It is suitable for determination of encapsulation efficiency and the release profile in vitro of curcuminoids liposome.
