The Health Knowledge and Health Behaviors of Community Residents in Yinchun City

Abstract

Objective To study knowledge of health and health behavior formation of Yinchuan City residents.Methods A total of 1200 samples were selected with stratified random sampling method in 4 districts of Yinchuan and household was taken as the sampling unit.Results The total health knowledge awareness and health behavior formation rate were 67.7% and 73.57% respectively.Conclusion Yinchuan City residents' knowledge about the health awareness and the behavior formation rate were unpromising.There were a long way to go in health education and health promotion in Yinchuan.
