Abstract
OBJECTIVE To understand awareness rate of health knowledge and health behavior among residents in Xining. METHODS By stratified cluster sampling method, 4 200 residents were collected from four districts and three counties of different occupation groups, and questionnaires were used to investigate. RESULTS From Xining city, the overall awareness rate of public health knowledge was 72.32%, the knowledge awareness rate of infectious disease prevention and control was 78.98%, and the health behavior formation rate was 66.85%. CONCLUSION The awareness rate of health knowledge and health behavior formation rate in Xining was still low, which remained to be further improved.
