Clinical observation on effect of clomipramine combined with Compound Xuanju Capsule on premature ejaculation

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of clomipramine combined with Compound Xuanju Capsule on the treatment of premature ejaculation.Methods:405 patients with premature ejaculation were divided into the treatment group(n=205) and control group(n=200).Both groups were treated by clomipramine,the former received Compound Xuanju Capsule in addition.After 4-week treatment,comparisons were made in the sexual satisfaction between the two groups.Results:The cure rate and the improvement rate of sexual satisfaction were 21.9% and 56% respectively in the treatment group,which were significantly higher than those in the control group.Conclusion:Clomipramine combined with Compound Xuanju Capsule is effective to treat the premature ejaculation.
