Observation on the effect of clomipramine combined with compound Xuanju capsule for premature ejaculation

Objective: To observe the effect of clomipramine combined with compound Xuanju capsule on treatment of the premature ejaculation.Methods: Four hundred and five patients with premature ejaculation were divided into treatment group(n=205) and control group(n=200),both were treated by clomipramine but the treatment group was given the compound Xuanju capsule in addition.After 4 weeks, comparisons were made of the sexual satisfaction between the two groups.Results: The cure rate and the improvement rate of premature ejacutalion were 21.9% and 56% respectively in the treatment group,significantly higher than in the control group(all P=0.002).Conclusion: Clomipramine associated compound Xuanju capsule is efective to treat the patients with premature ejaculation.
