Abstract

objective To investigate and analyze the clinical effects of butylphthalide in the treatment of ischemic cerebral infarction. Methods 100 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from March 2009 to February 2011 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy while the obsenration group was given additional butylphthande on the basis of the control group. The NIHSS seore and the Barhel index on the 14 th day were compared between the observation group and the control group while v WF were measured. Results The NIHSS score and the Banhel index on the 14 th day of the two goups were significant differences(P0.05).The plasma v WF levels of obsenration gmup was significantly higher than that in the control group on the 7th day and the 14 th day(P0.05). Conclusion Butylphthalide is effective in the treatment of ischemic cerebral infarction by protecting vascular endothelial cells.
