Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of Butylphthalide Capsule combined with Ginkgo Dipyridolum Injection in the treatment of elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 120 cases of elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to Zhongshan Dachong Hospital from April 2012 to January 2014 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. The observation group was given Butylphthalide Capsule oral and Butylphthalide Capsule intravenous therapy, control group was treated with Xuesaitong Injection for intravenous drip, the course was 15 days. Data before and after treatment was collected, the clinical effects, NIHSS, haematological index and side effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group(85.0%) was higher than that of control group(68.3%), the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05); the scores of NIHSS after treatment in the two groups were all decreased significantly(P 0.01), while the improvement of NIHSS in the observation group was better than the control group(P 0.05); after treatment, the fibrinogen, D-dimer, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in the two groups were all decreased(all P 0.05), while the improvement of D-dimer, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in the observation group were significantly better than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05); there were no obvious adverse drug reactions during the treatment in the observation group and control group. Conclusion The combined application of Butylphthalide Capsule combined with Ginkgo Dipyridolum Injection in the treatment of elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction has a better clinical efficacy and good safety.
