Abstract
In order to improve the purification efficiency of total saponins in Abrus cantoniensis, the conditions and parameters of purification process of total saponins using AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin were studied. The conditions of absorption and desorption were investigated with the indexes:absorption ratio and reserved rate of total saponins. The results showed that the sample loading solution was 1.00 g/L of 2.0 BV with pH value of 6.0 at the sample loading flow rate of 2.0 BV/h.The elution solvent was 3.5 BV of 50% ethanol solution with pH value of 7.0 at flow rate of 4.0 BV/h.The total saponins reserved rate was 82.8%,with the purity of 75.18%.
