Clinical Study of Yiqi Wenyang Decoction on Treating Chronic Congestive Heart Failure

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of Yiqi Wenyang Decoction on the heart function and the level of BNP in the patients of congestive heart failure.Methods:113 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(67 cases) and control group(64 cases).The control group was given western medicine only,the treatment group was given western medicine combined with Yiqi Wenyang Decoction.The heart function and the level of BNP were measured after half a month.Results:The heart function was better and the level of BNP was lower in the treatment group than the control group.Conclusion:The curative effect of Yiqi Wenyang Decoction on treating congestive heart failure was better.
