Clinical Efficacy Observation of Wenyang Tongmai Fomula in the Treatment of Chronic Congestive Heart Failure

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenyang tongmai formula in the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure(CHF).METHODS:60 cases of CHF were randomly divided into control group(30 cases) and treatment group(30 cases).Control group received conventional therapy and treatment group received conventional therapy and Wenyang tongmai decoction.The heart function parameters of tow groups,i.e.SV,CO,LVDD,LVEF,heart function classification and 6-min walking test,were compared after 12 weeks.RESULTS:The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.33% and that of control group was 76.60%,there were significant differences between two groups(P0.05).The heart function parameters of treatment group were better than those of control group.CONCLUSION:Wenyang tongmai formula can effectively improve clinical efficacy and heart function in CHF patients.
