Effect observation on nifedipine combined with valsartan in treatment of primary hypertension

Objective To explore the clinical effect of nifedipine combined with valsartan in the treatment of primary hypertension.Methods 90 cases of patients with primary hypertension were treated in our hospital from March 2011 to August 2012,they were divided into control group and treatment group according to the treatment,45 cases in each group,the control group were given nifedipine,and the treatment group were given valsartan on the basis of the control group,the clinical curative effect and adverse reaction of patients were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate was 84.4% in the control group,was significantly less than 93.3% of the treatment group,the difference was significant between the two groups (P0.05).The control group patients with headache of 1 case,2 cases of lower extremity edema,the incidence of the adverse reaction was 6.7%.The treatment group patients with headache of 1 case,1 case of nausea,the incidence of the adverse reaction was 4.4%.The difference of the incidence of the adverse reactions was significant between the two groups ( P0.05).Conclusion Nifedipine combined with valsartan therapy of primary hypertension has remarkable effect.
