Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nifedipine combined with valsartan in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hypertension. Methods Select 76 cases of elderly patients with hypertension as the research object,Randomly divided into control group and observation group,38 cases each, the control group was given nifedipine, observation group was given valsartanon the basis of the control group, the clinical effect was compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 97.37%,which was significantly higher than that of control group(78.95%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Nifedipine combined with valsartan have remarkable effect in the treatment of primary hypertension, safe and reliable.
