Abstract
Objective To observe the serum leptin, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)changes in patients with liver cirrhosis and investigate its clinical significance. Methods 40 patients with cirrhosis were divided into three groups according to Child-Pugh classification standards,Child-A level 13 cases,Child-B level 18 cases, and Child-C level 9 cases.Of the 40 cases of patients with liver cirrhosis, leptin and TNF-α were analyzed. Results 1.Three groups of leptin and TNF-α were significantly higher than those in the normal control group(P0.01 or P0.05),and in Child-B and Child-C group, leptin and TNF-α were significantly higher than those in the Child-A group(P0.01),in Child-C group, leptin and TNF-α were significantly higher than those in Child-B group(P0.01 or P0.05).2.In patients with liver cirrhosis, leptin was positively correlated to TNF-α(P0.01).Conclusion In patients with liver fibrosis of cirrhosis, serum level of leptin and TNF-α increased significantly, which indicated that leptin and TNF-α played an important role in the occurrence and development of cirrhosis of the liver and played a synergistic role in the process of liver fibrosis.
