Misoprostol combined with oxytocin to prevent postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract
【Objective】To investigate clinical efficacy of sublingual misoprostol and oxytocin in preventing postpartum hemorrhage. 【Methods】500 cases of maternal vaginal delivery were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. 250 cases of control group injected with oxytocin and the 250 observation group used sublingual misoprostol were observed and compared on base of control group. The third stage of labor, 2 h and 24 h postpartum hemorrhage were observed and compared. 【Results】The differences of the third stage, 2 h and 24 h postpartum bleeding volume of labor of control and observation group were statistically significant(P 0.01). Postpartum hemorrhage of observation group was reduced(P 0.01). 【Conclusion】Misoprostol combined with oxytocin to prevent postpartum hemorrhage can be better and safety,is worthy of clinical application
