Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of esomeprazole triple therapy for treatment of peptic ulcer combined with heicobecter pylori(Hp) infection. Methods 121 patients diagnosed peptic ulcer combined with Hp infection by gastroendoscopy and ~(14)C urea breath testing(UBT) were randomly allocated to therapeutic group(61 cases) and control group(60 cases). The therapeutic group were administered esomeprazole(20 mg,twice a day), amoxicillin(1.0 g,twice a day) and clindamycin(0.5 g,twice a day) for 2 weeks. The control group were administered famotidine(20 mg,twice a day),amoxicillin(1.0 g,twice a day) and clindamycin(0.5 g,twice a day) for 2 weeks.Three days after therapeutic period, the Hp eradication rate, symptoms and peptic ulcer healing rate were observed. Results The symptom ameliorate rate, peptic ulcer healing rate of the therapeutic group and control group were 97.0%and 81.0%,96.0%and 79.0%,respectively.The Hp eradication rate of the therapeutic group and control group were 93.1%and 74.0%,respectively.There are significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of esomeprazole triple therapy for Hp infection is definite, and side effects are less common. It is alternative option for Hp eradication.
