Curative effect observation of Helicobacter pylori infection treated by Huanglong Qingyoutang

Objective:To study the effect of Huanglongqingyoutang for Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection. Methods:101 Patients with Hp infection suffering from peptic ulcer were divided into to treatment group and control group. The treatment group were treated by Huanglongqingyoutang. The control group were treated by esomeprazole (20 mg, twice a day) , metronidazole (400 mg, twice a day) and amoxicillin (1 000 mg, twice a day) for one week and then were treated by esomeprazole (20 mg, every day)for another three weeks. Four weeks later, the Hp eradication, symptoms, peptic ulcer healing were observed. Results:The Hp eradication rate between the treatment group and control group were 90.2%, 74.0%, respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups (P0.05). The symptom ameliorate rate, peptic ulcer healing rate between the treatment group and control group were 94.1% and 90.0% , 88.2% and 88.0%, respectively. The difference was not significant (P0.05 ). Conclusion: Effect of Huanglongqingyoutang for Hp infection is remarkable.
