On Ye Xie's "Yuan Shi" and His Poetic Theory

Abstract

There are a lot of works of poetic theory during the early Qing dynasty,but most of the books are not just systematic based on one or two key words.Ye Xie's Yuan Shi is different.It has complete theoretical system,and can be divided into three parts: nature theory of poem,positive change of poem,and creative theory of poem.This paper mainly discusses Ye Xie's Yuan Shi and his theory of poems.
