Abstract
Based on a review of different interpretations of the philosophy of scholars in Han Dynasty by poetic critics in past dynasties, this paper analyses how Ye Xie arrived at his original interpretation creatively. Furthermore, the paper explores Ye’s poetic stand and his attitude towards politics in early Qing Dynasty.
