Abstract

Looking back into the history of adult higher education since 1950s,this paper analyzes the deficiencies and features of traditional adult higher education in its major task to train on-work personnel required by the then planned economy system.Meanwhile,the paper deals with the necessity of implementing life-long education and also brings about the measures to reform adult higher education.
