Abstract

AIM: To investigate the effects of Chishaoganaochongji D-galactosamine-induced liver injury in mice.METHODS: The chemical-associated liver injury in mouse was induced made by administration of D-GalN.The serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) level, and malondiadehyde(MDA) and nitric oxide(NO) level in liver homogenate were assayed by chemochromometry.RESULTS:Chishaogancaochongji(200,400,800(mg·kg~(-1))) was able to decrease levels of serum transaminases(ALT,AST),liver index and thymus index significantly.Furthermore,Chishaogancaochongji also decreased MDA content and NO level in liver homogenate.CONCLUSION: Chishaogancaochongji has protective effect on chemical-associated liver injury in mice.
