Present Status of Health Education Conducted by Community Health Service Institutions from Different Leveled Hospitals

Objective To find out the present status of health education conducted by community health service (CHS) institutions under different leveled hospitals and to explore the effect of health education.Methods Typical sampling was taken to select three community health service institutions respectively held by grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ hospitals of Xicheng district in Beijing.Questionnaire survey on health education of community health service was conducted.Results The network organization for health education held by CHS institutions as well as the working system,hardware facility and personnel allocation were basically standardized.The rates of acquaintance and utilization of residents to health education on community health service respectively were 58.9% and 41.4%.The rates of health knowledge awareness of residents were 70.2%.Satisfaction degree of residents on health education were 51.6%.There were significant differences among the community health services held by hospitals of different grades (P0.05).Conclusion Health education of CHS had been partly known and accepted.The effect of community health services held by the third-graded medical institutions is better.
