Residents' Awareness and Utilization of Community Health Services from Different Leveled Hospital

Objective To investigate the status of residents' awareness and utilization of community health service and to explore the effect of the community health service held by different leveled medical institutions.Methods Typical sampling was taken to select three community health service institutions respectively held by grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ hospitals of Xicheng district in Beijing.Questionnaire survey on the residents' awareness and utilization of community health services was conducted.Results The rates of residents' awareness and utilization of community health services respectively were 91.2% and 64.9%.There were significant differences in rate of residents' awareness and utilization of community health services given by hospitals of different grades(P 0.05).Conclusion Community health service had been known and utilized.The model of community health services given respectively by three-graded medical institutions should be popularized.
