Abstract
Land use planning is an essential means for resolving land use conflicts and ensuring sustainable use of land resource.It is widely accepted that the harmonies between regulation and macro-control,between various administration levels,and between land development right and public benefit are main contents for resolving conflicts of land-use bodies.This paper reviews these three relations regulation and macro-control,various administration levels,land development right and public benefit,in world land use planning and presents experience and lessons learned from world land use planning for improving a new-round land use planning in China.
