Abstract

Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of P53 and PCNA and biological behavior of lung carcinoma. Method: Immunohistochemical analysis for P53 and PCNA expression in 92 cases of lung carcinoma were made. Result: P53 protein expression was positive in 55 cases of lung carcinoma .PCNA expression in all cases were positive .In low-grade carcinoma positive rate was higher than that in high-grade carcinoma .Conclusion: P53 and PCNA may be used as reference index of tumor grade and prognosis.
