Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of chlorpromazine and clomipramine in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD).Methods:52 cases of obsessive-compulsive disorder patients, who were cured by clomipramine in the previous treatment, were divided randomly into two groups. One of them, which was called as the treatment group, were cured combined with chlorpromazine for the next 8 weeks, while the other one(the control group) were still going on treated by clomipramine only during the period.Over the duration of treatment,Y-BOCS and HAMA were used to evaluate the changes of mental symptoms of patients of these two groups. At the same time,t-test was also used to analyse them. Results: The total score of Y-BOCS and HAMA of the treatment group was decreased sharply compared with that of the control group and the differences between these two groups are significant(P0.01).Conclusions: The curative effect of obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) will be improved by using chlorpromazine combined with clomipramine.
