Clinical observation of non-invasive bilevel continuous airway pressure ventilation on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with respiratory failure

Abstract

Objective:To discuss the clinical effect of non-invasive mechanical ventilation for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) associated with chronic respiratory failure.Methods:49 cases of COPD patients complicated with respiratory failure were randomly divided into two groups:non-invasive mechanic ventilation treatment group(25 cases) and control group(24 cases).The routine treatment was used in control group,and the non-invasive mechanical ventilation was used in treatment group based on the routine treatment.The breathing,heart rate,blood gas and clinical effectiveness of the two groups of patients were observed and compared before treatment,after 4 hours and 3 days of therapy.Results:The total effective rate of control group was 45.83%,while the treatment group achieved an effective rate of 76.00%,and the effective rate of treatment groups was significant higher compared with cortrol group(P0.05),the blood pH,PaO2,PaCO2,breathing and heart rate of the treatment group improved significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Non-invasive ventilation in the treatment of COPD patients with respiratory failure has a significant curative effect.
