Abstract
Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of phlegm-expelling and blood stasis-removing decoction in the treatment of angina pectoris and the effect of phlegm-expelling and blood stasis-removing decoction on blood lipid level and hemorheology. Methods: A total of 108 patients with unstable angina pectoris were divided into treatment group(n=56) and control group(n=52).The treatment group received therapy with phlegm-expelling and blood stasis-removing decoction, while the control group received therapy with aspirin, simvastatin, and nitroglycerin. Results: The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(98.21% vs.73.08%,P0.05).The treatment group showed significantly more improvement in blood lipid level and hemorheology than the control group(P0.05).There was no significant difference in coagulation index between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: phlegm-expelling and blood stasis-removing decoction can significantly improve blood lipid metabolism, decrease blood viscosity, and resolve hypercoagulable state of blood, and thus has good therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of angina pectoris.
