Abstract
Objective :To observe the effect of Changliu Decoction treating stable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type). Methods :65 cases of stable angina pectoris with Qi deficiency and blood stasis type were randomly divided into two groups :treatment group(n=32)and control group(n=33).The two groups were given Aspirin,ACEI,β-blockers,Calcium antagonist and Statins. The treatment group was given Changliu Decoction in addition twice a day on basis of treating in routine when angina attacked sublingual nitroglycerin. The two groups were treated for 6 months. The symptom scores of angina and TCM and their effects on blood lipids were observed before and after treatment. Results :The symptom scores of angina and TCM were reduced after treatment in both treatment group and control group, with more significant reduce in treatment group than in control group,P0.001.The blood lipids were improved after treatment in both groups, while the control group had an improving trend in LDL-C,with more significant improvement in treatment group than in control group,P0.05.Conclusion :Changliu Decoction is quite effective in treating stable angina pectoris in type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis.
