Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on diabetes medication compliance. 114 patients with type 2 diabetes in our hospital from February 2012 to January 2013 were chosen as the research object. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group of 54 cases was taken with conventional care, and the observation group of 60 cases was taken with comprehensive nursing intervention. The medication adherence and free blood glucose( FBG) control effect for the two groups were compared. Results Followed up for 6 months, the medication compliance in the observation group was 96. 7%,which was significantly higher than the 90. 9% in control group( P 0. 05). The FBG, 2hPBG in the observation group after following up were significantly lower than the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion The comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improve diabetes medication compliance,so as to achieve better glycemic control, which should be used as the preferred care programs.
