Clinical observation of TP and NP regimen in patients with advanced breast cancer

Objective To study the curative effect and adverse drug reactions of TP regiment and NP regiment in treating advanced mammary carcinoma. Method 62 cases of advanced mammary carcinoma patients were divided to two groups randomly. One group included 26 patients treated with TP regiment,and the other group included 25 patients with NP regiment. TP regiment: Paclitaxel 135 mg/m2,by infusion on days 1,Cis-Diaminodichloroplatinum 30 mg/m2,by infusion on days 1,2,3. NP regiment: Vinorelbine Tartrate 25 mg/m2,by infusion on days 1,6,Cis-Diaminodichloroplatinum 30 mg/m2,by infusion on days 1,2,3. Every 3-4 weeks is a cycle in TP regiment and NP regiment. Result For TP regiment: the total effective rate of was 50%( 13/26),TTP is 8.1 months,the median survival time was 16 months,and the rate of survival in one year was 59.1%. For NP regiment: the total effective rate of was 40 %( 10/25),TTP was 6.8 months,the median survival time was 15 months,and the rate of survival in one year is 45%. The main adverse drug reactions of two regiments were restraint of marrow and gastrointestinal reactions. Conclusion These two regiments are significantly effective for advanced mammary carcinoma patients. The recent curative effect has no statistically difference between these two regiments,P 0.05. The patients can endure these adverse drug reactions.
