Abstract
Objective: To study the expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and endoglin(CD44v6)in adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC).Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to measure the expression of CD44v6 and MMP-9 in ACC,calculation of CD44v6 and MMP-9,the data was analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software package. Results: The grading difference of CD44v6 and MMP-9 in normal salivary gland and adenoid cystic carcinoma was significant; As was also found in different pathological type of adenoid cystic carcinoma. Conclusion: CD44v6 expression is correlated with the pathological type of ACC,MMP-9 is highly expressed in ACC tissues,it might become promising targets for adenoid cystic carcinoma.
