Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression of Ki-67 in adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC) and its significance.Methods:The expression of Ki-67 in ACC of 54 cases were studied by immunohistochemical staining.T test was used to analyse its clinical and pathological significance.Results:The expression of Ki-67 in ACC was related with clinical stage and pathological type.The higher expression of Ki-67 was indicated worse prognosis.Conclusion:Ki-67 may serve as a marker for evaluating the malignancy and prognosis of ACC.
