Abstract
Objective: To study the determination of hydroxysafflor yellow A content in Mongolian medicine Arixi·Agaru-8 by HPLC. Methods: The content of hydroxysafflor yellow A in Mongolian medicine Arixi · Agaru- 8 was determined by HPLC. The stationary phase was Inertsil ODS- SP,and the mobile phase was 0. 7 % H3PO4- MeOH- C2H3N( 72∶ 26∶ 2). The detection wavelengh was 403 nm,and the flow rate was 1 ml / min. Results: The linear range of hydroxysafflor yellow A was 0. 112- 0. 56 μg with regression equation of Y = 352 131X- 3 242( r = 0. 9996). The average recovery was 103. 15%,RSD = 0. 76%. Conclusion: The HPLC method for the determination of hydroxysafflor yellow A is simple, fast, accurate, and shows a good reproducibility.
