On the Relationships of Post Stations with Economic Development of Heilongjiang Area in the Qing Dynasty

The paper tells something about the setting, displaying and management of post stations of Heilongjiang in the Qing Dynasty. In early the Qing Dynasty, post stations mainly served military functions as assuring transports of army and army supplies, passing of formal orders and memorials to the emperor in order to resist the aggression of Tsars Russia. But afterwards, it had increasingly turned to promote the rising of cities and towns, and made great contributions to the economic development in these areas.
