The percutaneous puncture biopsy of thorax under CT-guided(analysis of 64 cases)

Abstract

Objective: To study the value of CT-guided biopsy.Methods:64 cases were studied, 38 males and 26 females.CT-guided biopsy was done with pleural puncture needle of 18G.Results:The successful rate of puncture was 95%,the positive diagnostic rate was 88% and the incidence of complications was 6%.Conclusion:The CT-guided biopsy is a safe, accurate and feasible technique, and plays an important role in making diagnosis and differential diagnosis for thorax.
