A Survey of Hand Hygiene of Medical Staff in Tertiary Hospitals in Tianjin

Objective To investigate the condition of mastering the knowledge about hand hygiene of medical staff in tertiary hospitals in Tianjin,and to analyze its impact factors.Methods Taking the method of questionnaire survey,and making investigations on the target population.Results The medical staff has a high level of hand hygiene,and the overall is in good condition.It is statistically significant in hand hygiene knowledge score difference in medical staff from different gender and title(P0.05).Hand hygiene facility is the major factor which affects the implementation of hand hygiene.Conclusion It is a long-term task to improve the level of hand hygiene.Relevant departments and hospital managers should strengthen the management,increase publicity and education,and take various measures to improve the level of hand hygiene of medical personnel.
