Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of pantoprazole in treatment of patients with peptic ulcer hemorrhage. Methods 135 cases with peptic ulcer hemorrhage were divided randomly into observation group( n = 68) and control group( n = 67) ,receiving treatment of intravenously pantoprazole and cimetidine respectively. Results Compared with control group, the improving rate and total effectiveness rate of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group( 60. 3% vs 35. 8% ,91. 2% vs 70. 2% ,two P 0. 01) ,and had few side effects occurred. Conclusion Pantoprazole is a effective drug for peptic ulcer hemorrhage.
