Treatment observation of pantoprazole effect on peptic ulcer hemorrhage

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of pantoprazole(Weidi) on peptic ulcer hemorrhage.METHODS The 46 patients with peptic ulcer hemorrhage were randomly assigned to two groups,and 24 patients for Weidi pantoprazole group and 22 patients for omeprazole control group.40 mg of Weidi pantoprazole and omeprazole respectively dissolved with 100 mL pharmacy physiological saline for intravenous dripping.2 times a day and the treatment period was 5 days to observe the changes of the hemorrhage.RESULTS The obvious efficient rates of Weidi patients and omeprazole patients were 75% and 63.64%,respectively; and effective rates reached 20.83% and 31.82,respectively; general effective rates achieved 95.83% and 95.45% of Weidi patients and omeprazole patients,and there was no significant difference between these two groups (P0.05).CONCLUSION Weidi pantoprazole is a kind of safe and effective medicament to treat peptic ulcer hemorrhage.
