Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of salmeterol fluticasone and tiotropium to lung function of patients with COPD.Methods 118 patients with COPD were randomly and evenly divided into two groups. The experimental group was inhaled 18 μg of tiotropium once everyday and 50 /250 μg of salmeterol fluticasone twice a day,and the control group was treated with the inhalation of 50 /250μg of salmeterol fluticasone twice a day.The treatment course was 6 months.Clinical efficacy,FEV1,and dyspnea score were observed and compared between the two groups before and after the treatment. Results The total effective rate was 89.8%(53 /59) in the experimental group and 76.3%(45 /59) in the control group respectively with significant significance(P 0.05).The improvement of lung function was more pronounced in the experimental group than in the control group with statistical significance(P 0.05).Conclusion Salmeterol fluticasone and tiotropium have a favorable clinical efficacy in the treatment of COPD patients, which can significantly improve patients' lung function and quality of life. It's worthy of widely clinical application.
