Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the content variety of tanshinone ⅡA in Radix Salviae miltorrhizae. METHODS An HPLC method was applied to measure the contents of tanshinone ⅡA in Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. RESULTS The contents of tanshinone ⅡA were different in various Danshen, ranging from 0.098% - 0.913% .CONCLUSION The contents of tanshinone ⅡA in crude drug of Danshen from Tibet is the higest. The method is simple, sensitive and accurate.
