Thoughts of Current Situation and Social Service Function in Vocational and Technical Colleges

Teaching,research and social service are three parts of higher education function.As one important component element of Chinese higher education,social service function doesn't perform its deserved effect,it stays at a very low level,still have many problems to solve.To strengthen vocational and technical colleges' social service function,we must recognize its role,position and significance from mind and cognition,and also put into practice from taking correct action and adopting proper measure.We must penetrate deeply into business,reintegrate into social work,reinforce abilities,perfect mechanism,create more appropriate methods,promote social service to a higher level.
