An Analysis of the Present Situations and Resolutions of the College Social Service in China

The present situations in carrying out social service in Chinese universities are the following: the inadequate importance attached to social service,the unclear service-orientation,and the low intake of science,technology and culture,the inefficiency in the economy of social service.In order to effectively realize the function of university social service,the thesis will come up with three resolutions.Firstly,the function-oriented should be clearly set up.Secondly,an effective mechanism of university social service should be constructed(including external and internal aspects).Thirdly,when it comes to the strategies,positive service attitude need to be formed;the appropriate laws and policies should be laid down;the ability of students' social participation ought to be emphasized;the academic advantage of teachers should be fully exerted;appropriate mechanism of university social service ought to be set up.
