Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Gubenfangxiao decoction(GBFXD)combined with point application on chronic asthmatic children with asthenia of deficiency of lung ang spleen qi.Methods:A central randomized, parallel controlled method was used to carry out clinical studies on 100 cases of chronic asthmatic children.there are 51 cases in observation group and 49 cases in control group.Children were orally administered GBFXD combined with point application in observation group and inhaled Pulmicort Turbuhaler in control group, the treating period was 6 months.Results:①Mono-target evaluation:Compared to baseline, the times of asthma attack, upper and lower respiratory infection were significantly reduced after treatment, meanwhile, the non-gasping days and the times of asthma attack were similar in two groups. But the severity of asthma attack in observation group was more effectively alleviated, and the times of asthma attack above 2 class was significant lower than control group. The times of upper respiratory infection in observation group were obviously lower than control group, indicated that the GBFX combined with point application treatment might prevent respiratory infections.②Total therapeutic effect evaluation:The total effective rate was 86.27% in observation group,73.46% in control group and the controlled and remarkable effective rate was 60.78%in observation group and 44.89%in control group, respectively. Conclusion:The treatment of oral administration GBFXD combined with point application on chronic asthmatic children with asthenia of deficiency of lung ang spleen qi was effective and safety.
