Clinical observation on Jinshuiliujun decoction in treating 56 cases of chronic asthmatic bronchitis in acute attack period

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Jinshuiliujun decoction on chronic asthmatic bronchitis in acute attack period.Methods 102 patients with chronic asthmatic bronchitis in acute attack period were randomly divided into two groups.56 patients in treatment group were treated with Jinshuiliujun decoction, decocted in water for oral dose, one dose daily; 50 patients in control group were treated by giving routine oxygen-inhalation, antibiotics, aminophylline and dexamethasone, and correcting the balance disorder of water and electrolytes, with a treatment course of two weeks for both groups. Results The total effective rates in treatment group and control group were 92.86% and 78.00% respectively. There was a significant difference between two groups (P0.05). Conclusion Jinshuiliujun decoction is effective in treating chronic asthmatic bronchitis in acute attack period, which can improve the clinical symptoms fast and shorten the treatment course, without side effect.
