Clinical Research of Sancai Xiaoxiao Decoction on Chronic Asthmatic Children

Objective:Observation of Sancai Xiaoxiao decoction(SCXXD)on children with asthma remission therapy was made.Methods:The control group were treated with Pulmicort Turbuhaler;the treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine(SCXXD)based on the same therapy in the control group,both as a course of 4 weeks.Indicators of two groups including attack of asthma in 3 months,the respiratory tract infection,the severe asthma,days without symptoms and massive cortical alcohol concentration were observed.Results:Four weeks after treatment,attacks of asthma in three months and the number of respiratory tract infection in treatment group had the obvious difference compared with that before treatmetn(P0.05);alcohol concentration and plasma massive cortical in treatment group had more significant increases than that before treatment(P0.05);and the difference was obvious(P0.05);days without symptoms and seriousness of asthma attack had no difference(P0.05).Conclusion:SCXXD can reduce the number of respiratory tract infection and increase the blood alcohol concentration when treating asthma of children.It is worthy of clinical spreading.
