Analysis of Circular Economy Based on Eco-Efficiency

Eco-efficiency is an effective method to measure the level of circular economy development,which is a hot research field.This paper explores the relationship between eco-efficiency and circular economy and puts forward that circular economy's purpose is eco-efficiency.By resolving the eco-efficiency's conceptual model,it builds a model of assessing circular economy development and potential.It argues that the higher the value of eco-efficiency,the higher the level of circular economy development is.When the economic growth rate is greater than the rate of resource consumption,the circular economy development is an efficient model.This paper is based on eco-efficiency theory and combines eco-efficiency indicators with circular economy assessment to build a distinctive model of circular economy.It is further development and complement of circular economy based on eco-efficiency assessment.
